What To Expect

Whether it's your first time at church, or if it's your first time in a long time, we know that going to a new church can be challenging. You may be looking to find a place to develop life-long friendships and relationships; maybe you’re looking for a relevant message addressing concerns in your life; or maybe you're looking for a church that has ministries for everyone in your family.

Whatever you are looking for, we believe we can be an encouragement to you and your entire family no matter where you are in life's journey. If you are looking for a church family, join us for worship and Bible study. We look forward to meeting you.

"How do I get there?"

You can find direction to FBNO here.

"When are the Service Times?"

There are two identical worship services for you to choose from, one at 8:15 and another at 10:45. Feel free to join us for either!

You're also invited to join a small group from 9:30-10:30. There are groups for every age and stage of life, filled with and led by people with the same interests as you.

"What should I wear?"

Most people show up wearing business-casual. You won't be out of place in jeans, but you won't stick out in a suit and tie. At FBNO, we encourage you to come as you are.

"What about my kids?"

Childcare is provided for Birth through 4 years on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. This enables parents to attend both worship and Bible Study on Sundays.

For children five and older a Bible study class is provided while you are attending Bible study. We offer a safe environment and secure facility.

"What if I have a baby?"

You are welcome to bring your infant into the worship center. You can also find a cry room in our fellowship hall across from the sanctuary, complete with live video of the service so you won't miss a minute.

You can also take advantage of our supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers. More information is available at the Welcome Center in the main lobby.

"Is there Preschool Worship?"

Yes! We have a video-driven, high-energy worship experience designed specifically for your young child in the second floor lobby. Your preschooler is sure to love this worship designed just for them.

Just check your child in at our electronic check-in system at the second floor lobby before you head to worship, and your child will then be placed in the appropriate class.

"What if I have special needs?"

Greeters are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an greeter to request assistance.

"What do I do during the worship service?"

We would love to meet you and make you feel welcome. Don't worry – We won't put you on the spot or call you to the front! We'd just like to know that you joined us, so we ask that you complete the attendance tab in the worship guide and place in the offering plate at the end of the service.

"What should I expect from a worship service at FBNO?"

In all, our services last between 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.

You’ll experience band-driven worship led by Tim Johnson and our Praise Choir most weeks.  We sing modern songs of worship and hymns arranged in a new way to allow the songs of our faith to be sung in a way that is relevant today. Worship usually lasts about 20 minutes.

Pastor David Crosby teaches the timeless truths of the Bible with clarity, humor and real-life application. His messages are biblical and relevant to today's changing culture, but the message of the Gospel never changes. Pastor David usually teaches for about 35 minutes.

Our main focus is that you would come in and be a part of worshiping God, while experiencing life-changing fellowship and a challenging and inspiring message.

"Do I have to give?"

There's absolutely no pressure to give! Feel free to sit back and relax as the offering basket is passed. If you would like to give, no amount is too small!

"What do I do after the service?"

We would love to meet you! Feel free to talk to one of the ministers or counselors who will be available during the response time in our service. They would love to answer any questions and help you get involved at FBNO.
