One Fateful Christmas

Four years ago I attempted to give my younger brother a very thoughtful gift. Knowing that he and his friends enjoyed camping, I gave him some camping gear that included an apparatus for cooking a grilled cheese sandwich over an open fire. Great gift for a camper, right? Wrong. Turns out these “camping” trips usually involve a cabin with a full kitchen. The gift became a family joke. The following Christmas, my brother gave that grilled cheese maker right back to me. The year after that, my gift to him was...yep, that same grilled cheese maker. The trend has continued. Hey, at least we haven’t continued to waste money on each other.

This catalog is designed NOT to waste your money. It is designed to support ministries in New Orleans and around the world. The gifts in this catalog won’t be recycled year after year like the grilled cheese maker—but they will have eternal effects that reach into the future.
