The pastor and connections minister will be ready to introduce you to FBNO -- and answer any questions you may have about who we are, what we do, where and when we do it, why we do what we do where we do it, and how you can become a part of this local body of Christ.

Pastor's Discovery Class
2 One-Hour Sessions on the Core Beliefs of FBNO

Session One: Connect to God! (September 8 and January 19)
Session Two: Connect to the Church (September 15 and January 26)

Taught by our pastor, David Crosby, and based on his book, First Principles, this class covers what we believe to be the core beliefs for the follower of Jesus Christ as he relates to the church and to the lost world. They are "core" in that they are the basis for what we do and how we teach as a church -- and these beliefs are the basis for all other doctrinal formations.

3 One-Hour Sessions + 4 Assessments + 1 Consultation = A Journey into Discovery of God's Plan for You

Graceworks 101: God's Grace at Work in Your Nature (September 22 and February 9)
Graceworks 101: God's Grace at Work in Your Spiritual Gifts (September 29 and February 16))
Graceworks 101: God's Grace at Work in Your Life Experiences (October 6 and February 23)

Based on our understanding that every believer is saved and gifted by grace, and is “God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared beforehand” (Eph. 2:10), Graceworks 101 is designed to help members of the FBNO body make the connection between God’s grace at work in each of us and God’s works prepared for each of us. It is a 4-session weekly or 4-hour Saturday morning intensive course exploring the biblical teachings on the way God’s grace works through the personality, abilities, felt passions, spiritual gifts and life experiences of each individual member of the body. The course is followed by a one-on-one session with a Graceworks Coach to go over the results of your assessments and help you connect to specific areas of ministry.

We take church membership seriously at FBNO -- and we want you to understand what members can expect from FBNO and what FBNO expects from its members.

Assessments and Coaching Sessions

During Graceworks 101, participants are encouraged to complete a series of PLACE assessments to help them begin to recognize their unique design as a member of the body.

But you do not have to wait for a Graceworks Class to connect at FBNO! Look through our Ministry Guide and take your gifts and personality assessments at fbno.mobilyzr.com. Contact  for an access code to take your assessments then
Schedule your Graceworks Consultation at any time after taking the assessments. We want you to get connected!  

The Graceworks Consultation is the member’s opportunity to sit down face-to-face with a consultant and go over the results of the assessments he/she completed in Graceworks 101. During this one and one-half hour meeting, the member is encouraged to take a close look at God’s grace at work in his/her life and how that connects with the works he/she is doing or would like to be doing. If you have completed Graceworks 101, but not yet scheduled a consultation appointment, see the schedule below for the weekly times that I have set open for consultatins. Email me at with 2 or 3 specific dates and times that you would like to schedule. Other days and times are available upon request. If you have not completed Graceworks 101, but would like to do the assessments and have a consultation, please contact Christi for instructions. PLACE Assessments must be completed before the consultation.
