Inward

New Orleans is a tourist destination with a reputation for good food, good music, and good times. Unfortunately, the city also attracts tourists for a few reasons that are not all that good. Redeeming Bourbon Street seems like an insurmountable task, but showing the love of Jesus to the people who work there is a small step toward that task which each woman of Inward is committed to taking.

We pray. We hand out chocolates and other small gifts with notes of encouragement and Scripture. We listen to the stories of the women we meet. When a doorway to showing God’s love opens up, we go through it. Our objective is simple. Whatever God would have us do to address the needs of women and children being exploited in the New Orleans sex industry.

Some of us pray and walk on Bourbon Street, others pray at FBNO.
