There are many people living in New Orleans who do not speak English. Their lack of understanding of our language makes the vulnerable and dramatically affects their quality of life.

We meet this very practical need in our community by providing English classes each Monday night from 6-8pm.

Volunteers to teach, provide meals and provide transportation are always needed. Also, if you’re a Spanish speaker, we could use your help!

ESL teacher trainings are scheduled at least once a year. No prior teaching experience is necessary!
