Grace and Peace to You: Purpose

God’s will is good. He wants good things for us. He brings about his will in our lives as we follow and obey him—as we are faithful. Grace and peace are the blessings of God, his gifts to us. We can only enjoy them when we are in his will, faithful to our Lord.
    
The standard apostolic greeting, grace and peace to you, is more than a formality. It emerges from the gospel as the state of being in Christ. Checking the levels of grace and peace in our lives is one of the best ways to discern if we are truly walking in faith.
