Fall Festival might be viewed by many as a children’s event but, in reality, it is a churchwide fellowship. On this one night, you can walk among several hundred people and encounter guests from the neighborhood, family members that church members have been trying to get to church, and schoolmates that kids have invited.
Sometimes people have the idea that Christians don’t know how to have fun. Fall Festival dispels that myth! One of my favorite things is seeing adults dressed up in silly costumes, playing games, and just having fun!
Studies show it usually takes several visits to a church before a non-church member feels comfortable with attending church. These are usually “entry level” visits—such as Fall Festival. Let’s put our best foot forward on October 30 and truly exhibit Christian fellowship to those who will venture on to our grounds!
How can you be involved? We need several more friendly, smiling faces at the registration tables—guests’ first point of contact can set the stage for the entire evening. Friendly folks serving food, running the cake walk, and manning the inflatables can make a lasting impression. Adults with no young children are the best people to help at Fall Festival as they are not having to give up time with their children or worry about them while they serve. Ask the Lord how you can serve or who you can invite on October 30 (5:30-7:30 pm)! Sign up on the worship tab or contact .
