What to Expect
Whether you’ve just moved to New Orleans and are looking for a church home or you haven't been to church in a while, we know that going to a new church can be challenging. Here's what you can expect when you visit FBNO.
Is there a dress code?
At FBNO, it's not about what you look like or what you wear. We want you to feel comfortable. Whether that's jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, or a suit and tie, you'll fit right in here.
As you enter the worship center.
We've got a team of friendly faces to welcome and assist you as you arrive. Feel free to ask them for assistance at any point during the service.
During the worship service.
You are welcome here. We won't put you on the spot or call you to the front. We will provide you with any information you need. We won't ask you to give any money. We only ask that you fill out the information tab in the worship guide and place it in the offering plate at the end of the service so that we'll know that you joined us.
What is the service like?
We worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. You’ll experience energetic worship led by Ricky Draper, worship band, and choir. One of our pastors will share an inspirational message that will encourage you and help you to live out your faith in Jesus in your daily life. Our services last approximately 75 minutes.
What about my children?
We have a preschool worship service designed specifically for your young child on the second-floor lobby. Your preschooler is sure to love this video-driven, high-energy worship experience designed just for them.
Just check your child in at the preschool lobby through our electronic check-in system before you head to the worship center, and your child will be placed in the appropriate class.
We also have a worship service designed specifically for children in grades 1-4. Your children can join you in the worship center for the beginning of the service and can follow our children's ministry leaders to Room 103 when they are dismissed for Kids' Worship.
After the service.
We would love to meet you. Feel free to talk to one of the ministers or counselors who will be available during the response time in our service. They would love to talk to you about how you can get involved at FBNO.
