What to Expect

Whether you’ve just moved to New Orleans and are looking for a church home, or you haven't been to church in a while, we know that going to a new church can be challenging. Here's what you can expect when you visit FBNO.

Activities for Children
We offer worship care for infants through kindergarten-aged children. We look forward to providing your children with a safe, loving, positive experience while learning about Jesus.
"What should I wear?"
At FBNO, it's not about what you look like or what you wear. We want you to feel comfortable. Whether that's jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, or a suit and tie, you'll fit in here.
As You Arrive
We've got a team of friendly faces to welcome and assist you as you arrive. Feel free to ask them for assistance at any point during the service.
During the Worship Service
You are welcome here. We won't put you on the spot or call you to the front, and we won't ask you to give us money. We hope that you'll feel at home and free to worship God together with us.
We worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. You’ll experience energetic worship led by Nate Jernigan and our worship band. Pastor Chad Gilbert will share an inspirational message that will encourage you and help you to live out your faith in Jesus in your daily life. Our services last approximately 75 minutes.
After the Worship Service
We would love to meet you. As you exit, please make your way to our Welcome Center, where we'd love to give you a small gift from us. You can also text the keyword "new" to 504.290.0741 to receive a brief connect card and have a pastor follow up with you. We would love to talk with you and get to know you more and answer any questions you might have.
